Good location for exploring Rennes and Bretagne. Very nice hotel, cozy feel but what really stands out is the staff. I have travelled the world on business for 40 years and stayed in many luxury hotels but the Balthazar Hotel is one of the better experiences I have had. Full marks to every member of staff throughout the four nights we stayed at the hotel.

It’s been a long time since I haven’t experienced a hotel like this , everything was perfect!! Breakfast, dinner , drinks , the position , cleanliness , THE BED (we’ve slept so well) ! The parking was useful and the instructions to enter fine, with key collection as described. It was clean, so far as we could see although we spent very little time there (see: what we didn’t like)
