What a fabulous place. Just outside the village, it is totally quiet without being remote. The building itself is beautiful, modern, but built in a traditional style. The room we had was large, well appointed, with all facilities including effective air-con (it was 34° outside!), and a large wetroom bathroom. There are only three guest rooms. The hosts, François and Isabelle are most welcoming and charming. We ate dinner there (which makes most sense as I don't think there's a nearby restaurant) and it was superb. François was a professional chef and cooks with enormous skill. I am vegetarian and he cooked separately for me with good grace and humour. There was plenty of fine wine. Guests sit with the hosts, and you have a long and convivial evening! François speaks English, but when we were there the other guests were Belgian and French, so the conversation was mainly French. I really can't recommend this place highly enough!

Flo was fantastic. We arrived after a long journey and both Flo and her partner made us feel very welcome. She even cooked us an evening meal so that we didn’t need to go out once we had arrived. She was exceptional !!!!!!

In such a beautiful, peaceful location. Close to the lovely village of Fons. Madeleine at La Halle restaurant is fabulous and the food amazing. Sylvie at La Piale was the perfect host. She was patient with our limited French but we had some lovely conversations. We were here 20 years ago but the property hasn’t changed a bit thankfully. The pool is beautiful and all you can hear are the bees buzzing on the lavender and the cicadas. We loved every minute of our stay. It is one of my very favourite places in the world. After a turbulent few years, I was so very pleased to spend a week here with my family. I hope I shall return soon.
