This is a new luxury property which makes a fabulous base for exploring the beautiful Dordogne/Lot region. Unforturnately, I was ill when we arrived and the next day needed a doctor's appointment. Jill, the manager, organised this (I am not a French speaker), arranged instructions to the local hospital and continually texted my wife during the day well into the evening after hours, to see how we were progressing. In the later evening, Aiden undertook a 20 km journey to collect my prescripion from the all night chemist, arriving back at the property at 12.30am. Over the next couple of days they helped my wife collect our car, took her shopping and did everything possible to help me recover. To say they went above and beyond is a significant understatement. I cannot thank them enough. When I eventually recovered enough to visit the pool I discovered a delightful spot for an afternoon dip and (I am guessing as I could not imbibe) an evening drink before dinner. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable (and I spent a lot of time in it so know well).
