The hotel was absolutely amazing. I was looking for a place to spend 2 nights between my two work-related events in Rhine area - first one in Basel, second one in Cologne (going home would have taken too much time). Somewhat accidentally found this hotel on booking.com. And it turned out a wonderfully relaxing mini-holiday - in the middle of beautiful landscapes and hiking paths, a hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and (especially!) dinner ... and the SPA! Coming from a sauna-country I really appreciate a proper Finnish sauna, and also a swimming pool where you can actually swim.

This was one of the best accommodation experiences I have had. The host was extremely nice and welcoming. He shared some spots and activities we can do nearby and was always available for any questions we had. The view was amazing and the jacuzzi overlooking the forest was the highlight of the trip. We felt very comfort being there, an exile with the right environment to do so. Everything was complete and we moved in that apartment feeling homey and relaxed. There is a small shop with local products and own produced things like eggs, sausages, bread and greens. A lot of great nature surroundings made it valuable for us to disconnect.
