Perfect accommodation for the black forest!! Perfect location in the central black forest area with plenty of tourist activities to do within the area (within 30 minutes) but also reasonable distances to drive to the northern (e.g. Baden-Baden) and southern (e.g. Feldburg, Freiburg, Basel) areas within an hour or two. The scenic and well maintained roads make journeying around well worth it. There is a train station 1 minute from the apartment if you wish to move around by rail, and plenty of pedestrian/cycle paths in the local area and black forest generally. The apartment was clean and tidy with all amenities required for a 10 night stay. Ramped access with wide doorways was perfect for a wheelchair user, we could even fit an off-road wheelchair with plenty of room, that is much wider than a standard wheelchair. Plenty of room for us (2 guests) and all of our luggage though easily setup for 4. Everything you could ask for in the kitchen, two modern bathrooms, one of which is a walk-in shower so good for accessibility. Spacious and inviting living room. Plenty of room in the bedrooms, again good for manoeuvring a wheelchair with ease. Lovely outdoor settings to sit outside and bask in the sunshine if you wish. Loads of supermarkets within a few minutes in either of the two towns that surround the apartment. Zell am Harmersbach has a few cafés and restaurants and was a nice little town to wander through. There is also a hotel-restaurant about 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. Friendly and welcoming hosts who met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment and explained everything, thankyou!!

Breakfast was superb. Great variety, nicely presented and friendly staff that couldn't have been more helpful. The fruit was fresh and replaced frequently, hot food was fresh and other clients made sure to recover the food after serving. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we required (other than an iron, which would have been handy). A great variety of alcohol available at the bar, with a cosy environment to enjoy the space. The spa was a big win, clean, multiple different environments to relax in and well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will without a doubt be back.

This very clean, cozy yet modern hotel has surprised us with it's hospitality, surroundings (fresh mountain air and almost no traffic) and facilities (in- and outdoor swimming pool, sauna,...). Always a parking spot nearby. A nicely renewed, modern interior in a well kept traditional exterior. Very fresh and tasty, varied breakfast and even your omelet will be baked on the spot and customized to your taste. To top it off: all staffmembers were very, very friendly!

This is a perfect apartment for couples or a family! It's very spacious and has everything you need including a large fridge, oven, jacuzzi bath and an amazing log fire. It's only 15mins driving from Europa Park so ideal for anyone visiting there. There's also a free car park about 3mins walk away or free street parking as well. The host lit the fire for us before we arrived so the apartment was so warm when we got there. Outside the apartment was a large collection of logs so we'd never run out. We loved the apartment so much we didn't want to leave to go to Europa Park! We will definitely stay again.

We felt very comfort being there, an exile with the right environment to do so. Everything was complete and we moved in that apartment feeling homey and relaxed. There is a small shop with local products and own produced things like eggs, sausages, bread and greens. A lot of great nature surroundings made it valuable for us to disconnect.

This was one of the best accommodation experiences I have had. The host was extremely nice and welcoming. He shared some spots and activities we can do nearby and was always available for any questions we had. The view was amazing and the jacuzzi overlooking the forest was the highlight of the trip. The location of the property was simply stunning. The property had everything we could need for a short stay and we were very comfortable. The communication from the owner was great and all questions were answered straight away. The restaurant across the way was very welcoming and we had a great meal and some lovely beer in there. The property is very central in the black forest and all the sights were easily reachable. Great location. Hot Tub a welcome sight after a long day of walking in the heat. Simply great.
