We had a wonderful time at Coconuco Beach Resort. It is a quiet oasis just 10 minutes walking distance outside of buzzing Palomino. We really had a great and relaxing time. The rooms are very clean, the premises are well looked after and the staff went out of their way to make this stay a 10/10.

The concept is amazing. Very nice and clean tent, with private bathroom and jacuzzi. Excellent breakfast, but most importantly the hosts are the friendliest people. They do everything to help you and we are very grateful to have spend our holiday there. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel Chiniu ("Hummingbird", in English) is a little peace of paradise on earth! The setting, amongst beautifully-tended gardens and tall coconut trees is a haven for relaxation and the two pools are spotless. The staff are marvellous and very welcoming, and the restaurant food delicious (try the Caldo de Verduras and the Placer Caribeño!).

Located in Palomino, Chez Oliv offers a garden and terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Some units feature a terrace and/or balcony.

Very nice place hidden in a beautifull garden full of flowers and birds. People taking care of the place are so nice. It is a quiet location half way from the beach and the center. we loved it.

The hotel is a beachfront property and away from any disturbing noises (cars, motorcycles, parties (loud music). The staff was great, helpful and cordial. The restaurant had good selection of lunch/dinner options, and breakfast was good, but would be excellent if they offered the traditional "arepa de huevo" and other options, but it was good. If you like surfing, there were good waves, as well as calmer waters up and down the beach, which is pretty long. You can take a nice walk on the beach to the "desembocadura" (River mouth) and see where the river pours out to the sea. There are very good restaurants in Palomino that offer a wide variety of Colombian and International dishes as well as an excellent café (Alheli Coffee Shop & School) in the park sector. Remember to take bug repellent and sunblock, you’ll need it and HAVE LOTS OF FUN. I’ll definitely return to Finca Escondida Hotel.
