All of the staff there were lovely and helpful, Joye has perfect English skills, helped us settled many communication problems during my travel even we left Lijiang. The room was comfortable and had authentic ancient ambient, there are two lovely dogs, everything there made our experience incredible.

We recently stayed at the Sky Cloud Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a welcoming atmosphere. All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, but I must give a special mention to David. From the very beginning, he was exceptionally kind and always willing to assist us with anything we needed. Our stay was truly memorable, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic experience.

The room is consistent with the picture, the decoration style is very like, all kinds of facilities are beautifully arranged, the sanitation is very clean, the stay is safe, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. Sound insulation is good, air conditioning is cool, and I slept soundly all night. I will choose this hotel next time.

The hotel is located near the old town and easily contacted by wechat, the owner is friendly and responded us very quickly. You can book car service to pick up from airport here with reasonable price. The same with tours around the city such as trip to Snow Moutain, Lugu lake,.... Room is nice, clean, and warm with air-conditioner, hair dryer, shampoo and everything else, I don't need to bring any of those with me in this trip. Especially if you love cake, try the rose cake from the hotel. It is so good I have to ask the owner to order for me to bring home as gift. They offer better prices than you go buy it yourself out in the old town. To sum up, it was a very pleased experience with Gemmer Hotel and Lijiang Old Town.

This hotel is such a good pick! Check-in and check-out were super fast, no waiting around. The bathroom was spotless, and there was enough hot water all the time. The staff even gave me tips on local places to visit. Loved it!

Our host was very welcoming. She provided us with helpful info about things to do in Yunnan province, where to eat/go locally which we loved and helped us book our driver for day trips. As we were travelling as a multi generational family of 6, we booked the entire house which was very spacious and the view from the rooftops was lovely.

Outstanding service, dream villa & unforgettable stay We spent several nights at Banyan Tree Lijiang and absolutely loved it. Our villa with mountain view was spacious, quiet and beautifully designed – the perfect place to relax. A very special thank you to Clover, who was truly exceptional. She was always reachable, very attentive and helped us with every little question and request. Because of her, we felt genuinely cared for from the first to the last minute. Also, Ms Jenny, the massage therapist, was fantastic. The spa is excellent, with a very good offer and high-quality treatments that made us feel completely renewed. The food was wonderful: a great restaurant, a stylish bar and surprisingly good coffee. And the beds were a dream – extremely comfortable, so we slept better than at home.
