The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. We had a cute balcony with a view to the pool and the main fortress in town- Tsarevets. Extremely nice and friendly staff, happy to help with everything. The pool was clean and the bar beside it is a definite bonus! Breakfast was also good, we found a few different things on both mornings we spent there. A lot of nature and beautiful views all around the hotel. Location for us was perfect, as it is not inside the crazy center and at the same time very close to just walk there, however, if you do not feel fully safe on an empty road in the evening, you maybe should consider taking a cab.

This hotel is probably the nicest we have stayed in in Bulgaria. The attention to detail, which includes a Dyson hairdryer! Is 5 star. The food was a highlight, generous portions, fresh ingredients, served by friendly staff in a lovely alfresco setting despite being in the built up area of Veliko Turnovo. A short walk from Tsarevets and the Archeological Museum. A special touch is car parking, though in the street, is paid by the hotel. If you dont manage to secure a room here come to eat!
