Located around 16 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, the inn is also 41 km away from São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum. Some rooms at the property feature a balcony with pool view. I travelled by train from Porto to Pocinho which is a somewhat remote station. The hotel arranged in advance a taxi for me which was there on my arrival. It brought me straight to the hotel where I received a very warm welcome indeed. The hotel itself is beautiful with period furnishings. I left by bus from the nearby bus station the next day and before leaving had a delicious breakfast which included scrambled eggs cooked specially for me.
