As usual great dinner, this time in the tatami room and not the restaurant, made it even better. It doesn't feel crowded even though a lot of rooms were reserved. Onsen was perfect. A must stay in the Takasaki area.

Dinner is a set course with many items. A lot of care and attention was out into preparation. The room is a traditional Japanese design with a lovely view of the river. The Onsens by the river are available till late at night and are beautiful. I would love to come back in winter when it is surrounded by snow.

Breakfast and dinner is exceptional - serving all local specialties. Location - slightly uphill for the main street but they have the secret pathway from hotel direct to Yubatake which is perfect and a short walk to Sai-no Kawara park. Perfect place for the day walk around Kusatsu.

Kaiseki breakfast and dinner were absolutely amazing and the service and eye for detail incredible. I loved my spacious room and comfortable futon. And the onsen were perfect. This could not have been better. Absolutely loved it

It was convenient for an overnight stay as the busses only runs until 8PM. And I just wanted a place to stay for a cheap price and Kotodama has great rates to choose from. I took the shared dorm and it was clean and there were dividers so there was privacy, and lockers are provided for storage of valuables. Things like a towel and yukata are offered for additional cost of 500 Yen. The innkeeper was accommodating for fielding in queries about places of interests in Kusatsu.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy pension. The woman and man who run the property are incredibly kind. We paid to have two dinners and one breakfast during our time, and all of our meals were delicious. The environment and scenery were peaceful and beautiful.
