Gabrielle, a seasoned michelin star chef and his wife Aliona opened this hotel in 2023. It was a monastery back in 1800 and they renovated mostly by themselves and their 2 sons. Every corner of the hotel has a personal touch, showing their passion and utmost care to a place they now call home. We truly felt their warmth and hospitality. They showed the process of the renovation for 9 full months. It has been an amazing experience in Tuscany and i fell in love with Italy because of their cities and hospitalities. Hope you could visit and stay at this place when you are visiting Tuscany. They have a set menu lunch and dinner at 45 and 65 eur / person, but we have not got a chance to try because they have a full day wedding the next day, so it is not serving lunch and dinner. Locanda dell'Aioncino has an amazing view from the yard and an excellent service at the restaurant, and very welcoming rooms with typical decor. The staff is very friendly, at the same time professional and nice. There is also a wine cellar with an interesting design and concept. We had the pleasure to stay in this place for 3 days and the opportunity to visit different cantine wines around.
