We arrived very early in the morning after an overnight flight and were greeted with a warm smile and a key to our room which had been upgraded. That was quickly followed up with a lovely breakfast and beer. The grounds and view was so beautiful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We slept with the window open and there was zero noise from the street... so peaceful. I will absolutely stay here for future visits to this area.

All parking is on the quiet village road immediately outside the pub. We do not have a car park. Richard and his staff made us feel very welcome and at home. Very friendly atmosphere.

Food was fantastic, £27 for two courses - we had turkey dinner and Christmas pudding which was so nice. We had The Big Splash room which was very big, spotlessly clean with a huge walk in shower and roll top bath in the room.
