Just beside the River Thames, The Trout at Tadpole Bridge enjoys an idyllic location between Oxford and the Cotswolds. Conveniently located to places we wanted to visit - friendly helpful staff - lovely comfortable rooms , Great breakfast also included in our room rate , and a really lovely meal in the evening close to a roaring log burner ( it was really cold outside so the fire was welcome)

The Falkland Arms is a 16th century pub located in the centre of Great Tew in rural Oxfordshire. The bar contains period features including log fire, flag stone floor and wooden beams. We came from Canada and found the Falkland Arms such a wonderful place to stay. The staff were amazing, the facilities nice, the food was great no matter what time of the day you ate, and the pub was welcoming and warm. Ellen and Tom were very welcoming and fun to chat with. Wish we stayed longer
