Our room was spacious and spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom included a tub, just as we had requested. The restaurant was also excellent, we really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return!

The Crown Inn is a beautiful building dating from 1633. Surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside, you can enjoy excellent views across the Golden Valley. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable.

Food was excellent. They have recently changed things and everything was really quite good. Butteted greens melt in your mouth, roasted veg sweet and slightly charred. But the parsnip & chestnut soup! Nutty and delicious and perfectly suited to a rainy December evening. Very responsive and a clear effort to make it all an enjoyable experience. Wine was also quite good.
