Our host was extremely friendly and helpful—even in good spirits despite Athletic Bilbao’s loss that evening! We truly appreciated the hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Every thing , and the location was perfect , right on the other side of the river from the Guggenheim museum. Very practical to be in the cultural center of town . And the prices were correct.

The staff at reception desk was extremely helpful. Made a huge effort to understand my broken Spanish. Helped us with public transport. Highlighted bus and tram routes on map etc. Helped us a lot plan visit. Hostel very well situated. 2 buses outside (28 and 58.) Direct to town centre. Recommended address for dinner. Hostel very quiet at night. Car parking facilities excellent. Large family room with bathroom/ toilet. Very comfortable beds.

Pension was small quiet and had good AC. We were able to leave our bags a bit early which was very handy. It's a bus ride / 30 min walk from the centre but has nice little cafes and bars nearby.

Great location near old town and beach. Upmarket area. There are a lot of 'Pension's' in the old town but I suspect are smaller and noisier than this place.

Lovely small Pension in great old building. Good check in and check out, could leave luggage until room ready and they gave us towels to take to the beautiful beach about 7 minutes walk away.

Very well located pension, perfect for a short stay or city break. I loved the location, could walk everywhere. There was a cafe/pub directly opposite which suited me for breakfast or a drink in the evening after sightseeing. The host was friendly and helpful, he gave me good advice on city-wide closures due to a football homecoming event. As, while I was there the whole city celebrated winning the Copa Real, providing a slightly crazy but fun atmosphere :) Aupa Athletic!

Location is unbeatable, close to the beach, shops, pintxo bars, 15min walk to bus or train station, groceries at the front door. There is an elevator, the pension is in the 1st and 2nd floor. Enough shared bathrooms, my room was quiet because it was looking to inner courtyard. There is a kitchen with many pots and pans to cook a simple meals fridge for the guests and your key is a bracelet to open the main door, kitchen and your room.
