What is there not to like? The place looks like it just sprang out from a fairy-tale book; it is perfectly located; every tiny little detail is taken care of and yet it remains homely. The owners are charming and go out of their way to assist. We could not dine there because, silly me, I did not read till the end of the confirmation email, which specified that advanced booking was required for the restaurant. And so we missed out on a gourmet dinner. So, future guests, do read the email till the end.

The service was impeccable; the room immaculate and comfortable. Really enjoyed breakfast in the lovely dining room. It reminded me a bit of my childhood with the blue plates and other touches of home on the wall and hearth. Thank you.

We also went to The Baddeck Gathering Ceilidh to enjoy traditional Cape Breton fiddle music, song and dance.

An American breakfast is available at the inn. Located on the edge of town, however Chéticamp is such a long spread out town it doesn’t matter. Lovely basic room, very comfortable, very much appreciated small assortment of chocolate and sweets to welcome us. Nice kitchenette. Best breakfast that we had on our trip. Great find.

It is located an hour of the beginning/end of the Cabot Trail. The view is beautiful and it was stunning to sit outside and eat our delicious breakfast. The owner Kim was very friendly and welcoming.

The inn provides a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. The Dunlop Inn was amazing for our trip to Cape Breton. It’s a cute little B&B right by the waterfront. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and the breakfast was just as perfect!

Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a sea view. Lovely quaint room, very nicely designed and furnished. Great A/C which helped us sleep well. And the couch and living room facilities also came in handy.
