The units feature a wardrobe. This was a really beautiful and cosy hotel. I was a solo traveller here and I felt very well looked after by the owners and staff. My room was beautiful, with a view of the river and mountains. There was even a view of a waterfall from the shower! There's a very nice place for swimming just a few minutes walk away from the hotel and it's about 7 minutes walk to the train station, which is well connected to towns and cities in the region. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, with very generous portions. And I would recommend eating at the restaurant, which had a really nice atmosphere and fantastic traditional dishes.

The breakfast was perfect and the staff was really kind.

Everything about this place was so nice...Lovely perfect location on the river, great breakfast, cozy heritage rooms...awesome place. VEry homely away from home. I'd definitely book again. Also the booking Noelia at the booking office was exceptional and always willing to help and accomodate.

Directly located on Lake Hallstatt, Bräugasthof Hallstatt features a traditional Austrian restaurant with a lakeside terrace. This historic 15th-century building is located in the car-free city centre, just 100 metres from Hallstatt’s market square. It is such a unique experience. The staff is super lovely and our stay was perfect. The view is insanely beautiful and we're sure this is the best place to stay in Hallstatt. It is worth the special location and experience. Gladly again.
