What a stunning country pub gem! We just left the "tourist highway to the South West" for a 5-mile-detour and found THIS. Where should I start? Perfect free parking, spacious room literally right in (!) the pub's outside patio (but without any noise whatsoever after dark); excellent (really, really EXCELLENT food); very welcoming staff even for non-Brits like us; bargain room rate for what you get;

Really enjoyed the ground floor room of the carriage house. I am a little physically challenged and room was much appreciated. Dinner was excellent, we entertained 2 guests, breakfast ample. Heating in our room was rather challenging!!
