We loved the location - very close to the coach station, also close to the train station and the city centre. The room was clean and cozy, the shared bathroom was also clean. The room had its own kettle and sink which was helpful. It was also cool to stay in the oldest inn in Birmingham, the atmosphere was great.

We managed to get a family room and it was lovely and spacious with a good view. It's really hot and so we were very glad to be able to open both sides of the window. The breakfast was amazing. There were cereals and juices on the bar but you could get a full English, cooked to order. We had dinner in the restaurant and the chef actually came out to hear our thoughts on the minted lamb chops. I've never had such a big piece of lamb before. Parking was free and plentiful. There was a lot of outdoor seating, which is great when the weather is hot. The pub has a lot of old features. I especially like the wooden fireplace in the dining area, which was hidden away behind boards and only discovered when they added the high ceilinged conservatory. It's 10 mins away from the NEC and very easy to find, which was great for us.

This 400 year old inn is located within just minutes walk from Warwick Castle and the historic Town Centre.
