Absolutely phenomenal! We went away with our dog, and he’s had the best weekend! Especially how welcoming and helpful the staff were with our boy, he felt so at home. The room was perfect, so relaxing and equally functional. We absolutely love the arrangement of the bath in the bedroom and a separate ensuite. Despite being above the pub, it was very busy downstairs, but we couldn’t hear anything once the door was shut. It was very warm, and the furniture was very, very comfortable. The owners were beyond helpful and welcoming, from showing us the room to the hospitality in the restaurant, they just couldn’t have done more. Thank you so much for our stay, will definitely be back!

What a stunning country pub gem! We just left the "tourist highway to the South West" for a 5-mile-detour and found THIS. Where should I start? Perfect free parking, spacious room literally right in (!) the pub's outside patio (but without any noise whatsoever after dark); excellent (really, really EXCELLENT food); very welcoming staff even for non-Brits like us; bargain room rate for what you get;

Lovely accommodation with great attention to detail and very clean. My husband and I stayed one night but would be more than happy to return.The evening meal was delicious and presented beautifully. Breakfast gave a good choice with the porridge being especially tasty. Amy and Will were very friendly and welcoming.
