Smashing village inn set in the English countryside. Accommodations are great and the food is marvelous. Kingsdon is managed by a super couple, Adam and Cinzia. (I hope they get an opportunity to have their own place one day.) Their service commitment is enviable. Stayed one night and planned dinner for 3 people here. Adam (chef) offers a surprising array of food items to choose from. Their kitchen pulls it off. Great presentation. Great flavors. Cinzia (front of house and a master of managing chaos I think :) is so nice. Everyone in my dinner party really enjoyed their dinner and the ambiance. Breakfast next morning was something to behold. I'm glad I changed my mind. I asked if I could have it the next day. Didn't want to live with that regret :) I would definitely like to return again with my wife next time.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Best sheets I’ve ever slept in! Hot shower, tea facilities, TV and all. The pub downstairs was also super cosy and we enjoyed a drink there in the evening! Very good breakfast in the morning too! We were traveling with our dog so a dog-friendly guesthouse and pub is always a plus!

Fantastic location , friendly staff, , nice rural area, great premises, food was delicious too. The owners are wonderful to deal with and went out of their way to accommodate us this showed in their staff too who were all so pleasant. Very popular restaurant and bar - nice outdoor setting. We would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
