Staff was very friendly. The pub on the ground floor is wonderful and a great variety of beer and food is served. The room was comfortable and the shared room was cleaned everyday.Location was Ok, not far from the city centre ( less than 10 min walk).

The location was excellent, and it was a really clean and comfy room with a comfy bed. I spent only one night, and it was worth that price. I would recommend it. I definitely would come back.

A lovely traditional local pub that's been modernised to include lodgings but has kept so many original features. Looks very picture-postcard from the outside with the red ivy (I think!) growing around the brickwork. Nice welcome at check-in and I was given a nice corner room with super four-poster style bed and corner bath. Great value for money with a top notch breakfast included (great fry-up, chef!). Breakfast was served in a lovely, large and bright open dining area at the rear of the pub.
