We are 2 long distance cyclists riding from the UK to Italy and the Gasthof Rose was exactly on our route in the centre of the delightful town of Hornberg just around the corner from the marketplace. It is a very comfortable traditional hotel run by a very charming lady. Good restaurant and an excellent breakfast. Very quiet. Very good secure bike storage in the hotel's garage. Very comfortable.

Breakfast was served in the neighbouring restaurant and was excellent as were the two dinners we had there. The room was in a traditional building but the interior was super modern - so clean it felt as though we were the very first occupants! Friendly staff and all round good value for money. Nice location in quiet village with a stream running behind the hotel - very relaxing background sound. Easy parking right outside the hotel.
