This was particularly well presented with different assortments of breads. The croissants were amazing that my husband had 2. Loved the egg boiler and coffee machine and jams. When the ham was used up this was quickly replaced with more for other guests. Very good attention to detail. Thank you !

We stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel is a remodeled 100 year old typical swiss house. It is so beautifuly traditional. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom, and it was so worth it. The views through the windows are breathtaking. The service is excellent, the people who run this hotel are polite and uncomplicated. The breakfast was excellent with eggs, hams, cheeses, jams, bread, juice, water and coffee. It kept us going all morning in the ski slopes. We could not have asked for more. The hotel is 2 min bu car from the Luchernalp lift to the ski resort, or 8 minutes walking. The town is beautiful and quite. We discovered this place by chance and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was recently renovated, the rooms were specious and we really enjoyed our stay. very clean, and the restaurant was a plus as the area doesn't have much to do. We surely recommend it.

I stayed here for two nights while traveling alone, and it turned out to be the perfect little spot. The single suite was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed: a comfy bed, private bathroom with shower and toilet, a small table, water kettle, and even a little balcony to enjoy the fresh mountain air. For a solo traveler, it offered just the right mix of comfort and privacy. The self check-in with the keybox right by the door was super easy and stress-free — I thought it was a really clever idea. The location couldn’t be better either: just a short walk from the bus station and parking area, and close to both the village square and the cable cars. I had a small hiccup with paying the city tax (totally my mistake), so I texted Sandra, the host. She replied straight away, was super friendly, and helped me sort it out in no time. Honestly, that kind of quick and kind communication makes a big difference. For 113.- CHF for two nights, I felt like I got a real bargain. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling solo who wants a comfy bed, some privacy, and a great location without spending too much. I’d happily stay here again!
