Very well situated near Royal Mile. Near where we got our bus for a 3 day tour to Isle of Skye. Walking distance to restaurants.

Great location, just a five minute walk from the bus and train station in one direction and restaurants/sights in the other direction. LOVED the mattress and temperature of room.
Liked the pancake machine at breakfast. This seems to be the UK equivalent of the wonderful waffle machines they have at Ibis hotels in Germany.

I like the Ibis hotels as the rooms are more than adequate and clean. I appreciated the free tea and coffee available at this hotel. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Special mention for Rosanna at reception who is originally from Sao Paulo in Brazil. Very helpful and friendly. It is an ideal location so close to the old town and city centre.

The hotel is very well located in the heart of Edinburgh. The hotel is modern, rooms are clean with all the needed amenities like what you can expect from an Ibis Hotel. My room had no view on the city, only towards the interior court of the building but it was therefore very quite eventhough it was in the centre of the city. I slept very well. The Breakfast is also very good.

Tbh ive not stayed in an ibis for 20yrs as was a bit basic back then but it much better now. Staff were nice, room clean and comfy with free snacks. Breakfast was excellent for a budget hotel. Great value at £64 b&b
