New ZealandOutstanding staff-always pleasant and helpful. Lovely room, comfortable, clean, cosy . Great facilities within the hotel and brilliant access to Amsterdam transport. Perfect location. Sustainability and service ideals of Ibis are exemplary. I had to have medications stored at reception and this was done with care and sensitivity.

PolandIf you need to stay for a night before your flight from Schiphol then book Ibis. The rooms are clean, quiet and pretty big for this level of price. The hotel provides free shuttle bus from and to the airport which is very convinient! The staff also gave us a detailed answer on how to find a bus stop at the airport and sent a schedule of departures. Totally worth of its price (in term of hotel prices in the Netherlands).

Everything about the Ibis Hotel is great we had stayed here the previous year so knew what to expect and we were not disappointed This Hotel is in a great location great breakfast and great facilities everything you could need was available.

The location next to the train station is not the prettiest in Amsterdam but was very convenient for us as we also had to go to another city on the train, and leave early in the morning for the airport. The reception area is nicer than in most other Ibis hotels. There are lovely views over the river from the rooms in the "back" building.

Bad experience staying at Ibis Hotel Amsterdam! The cleaner/member of staff stole my designer sunglasses out of my bag, put the glasses case back in, in the hope I would not realise. I reported this to the hotel, and still awaiting a reply from them, this has now been over 2 weeks! Do not stay here!

Review of wed 10.01.23:
Room 961 Ibis Hotel Amsterdam.
Right next to the main train station.
The room was spacious and had a top view of the city above the hotel building.
The bathroom was spacious with a shower.
The reception staff, Marjan and Prasant, were very friendly and helpful.
Open 24 hours with spacious seating and a bar area.
Free Wi-Fi is available.
We did not have breakfast.
