The Goodland is situated on a privately owned smallholding surrounded by large 200year old trees. The cottages are private and are ideal for couples or families looking for a tranquil breakaway, close to various attractions in the Central Drakensberg region. Four self-catering cottages which include Milk Cottage, Honey Cottage, Cottage One and Cottage Two can accommodate up to 12 guests in total. Milk Cottage and Honey Cottage is tastefully decorated with a mix of old and new. It comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms, and an open-plan living/dining area with a cozy fireplace. TV with DSTV and Netflix. Each veranda has a private built-in braai and views of the lovely garden and Drakensberg. Cottage One and Two are new additions to the Goodland and have a modern day charm. Each unit has a king size bed with ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower. Open plan kitchen and lounge with and uber cosy fireplace. All cottages have kitchens that are equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The area is predominantly focused on agriculture, so you will see a vast array of crops and cattle against a backdrop of the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains. The area also boasts a variety of restaurants, interesting shops, adventure activities and speciality crafted goods. Activities include hiking, mountain biking, golf, horse riding and quad biking, to name but a few.
