St Fort Farm Guesthouse

Since 1999 and we manage this farmhouse solely. We have been around for a long time and the farm has been in the family since 1964. We are a trusted brand with longevity and reliability. We love to give our guests the most authentic wholesome farm experience.

St Fort Guest farm offers the most incredible sweeping views of the Maluti mountain range and the iconic Mushroom Rock is situated on the farm. It is well worth the walk to the top of Mushroom Rock for the breathtaking views of the valley from the top. There are many trails and walks on the farm to suit all types of fitness levels. The trail to Batwing Falls is another highlight showcasing a waterfall. As is the walk on the Cannibal Trail which leads to a huge cave with Bushman paintings. The farm itself is a working farm with the melodic sounds of sheep and cattle lowing. The Farmhouse sleeps 12 people with 6 bedrooms, which can be booked as a whole, or broken into smaller units. The Main farmhouse has 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, lounge, kitchen and gorgeous patio with mountain views. The Annex has 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a kitchenette, lounge and outside patio. The Garden cottage is a studio cottage with a King bed, TV, kitchen and bathroom.

We are 6km from the beautiful town of Clarens. Our farm is close enough to drive into town, but also set apart so that you feel that you are in the country surrounded by beautiful mountains, a river, caves, a dam and stunning scenery, walks and trails. There many quaint and interesting shops and restaurants in town, be sure to visit the many art galleries, the breweries and leather shops.
