Alpha Excelsior is a small family run Farm in the Northern Cederberg. It is situated on the edge of the Cederberg Wilderness Area, in the heart of the world renowned bouldering area known as Rocklands. The two old Cape dutch farm houses, our two small remote cottages and all the caravans have stunning views of the surrounding Cederberg mountains. Guests can experience a number of hiking trails, peaceful paddles in the farm dam, strolls through the vineyards and olive orchards, unbeatable night skies and peace and quiet. Alpha Excelsior still actively farm Rooibos tea, Olives and vineyards for the small scale production of Extra virgin oil, table olives and red wine on site. A visit to the farm production area and tasting is a must.

Rebecca and James are the second generation on this small family run farm. They enjoy life away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and above all love making guests feel as welcome and comfortable as possible, sharing in the beautiful surroundings that they call home.

The Rocklands Valley is a world-renowned bouldering area nestled in the Northern Cederberg mountains. In spring the valley bursts into flower and you can drive and admire the flowers throughout the valley. The summer months are HOT but there are rivers., dams and waterfalls to cool off in - just be aware of the mosquitoes and don't forget to pack your mozzie repellant!
