Rivergate is part of a larger working farm. We are situated on the Klein River between the Walker Bay Nature Reserve and the Kleinriver Mountain Range. The cottages are in and among the landscaped gardens, in close proximity to the farm yard animals and close to the converted barn which is now a weekend restaurant, studio and farm shop.

Stanford is a quaint heritage village between Hermanus and Gansbaai. It has a few lovely shops and restaurants to explore, and has a lovely Saturday farm market. Rivergate is 2,5km outside of Stanford, on the Wortelgat Road which due to its river and lagoon frontage and its access to the Walker Bay Reserve has become a tourist destination in itself.
No additional guest will be allowed without prior arrangment. Any extra people (children included) over and above the specified cottage allowance will be chargable even if they share a bed.
