COUNTRY COTTAGE
OppiePlaas Haga Haga Farm Cottage, our self-catering standalone garden cottage which overlooks the farm pond, offers the following:
Living area with lounge seating for four as well as a dining table and chairs for four, TV and air-conditioning
Well-equipped kitchen
Main bedroom with a double bed
Smaller bedroom with a bunk bed for two
Bathroom
Relax with a sundowner while watching the sunset over the pond. Socialise afterwards while preparing the braai in the well-equipped braai area.

We have two outstanding, newly-built double en suite bedrooms that offer spectacular views. Observe game roaming the countryside closer by with the ocean creating the perfect backdrop in the distance. Available on a bed and breakfast or dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Your hosts will be Niel & Erna who has lived on Mtwentwe farm- the home of OppiePlaas- for the last 12 years. Niel is an advocate & Erna runs the farm, the restaurant & the accommodation. They know the area very well and will gladly assists with information on the local attractions and amenities.
Haga Haga, a mere 2 km from OppiePlaas Haga Haga, is a quaint holiday village along the coveted Eastern Cape Wild Coast. It is renowned for its tranquillity and natural beauty.Haga Haga has a safe swimming beach along the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and a beautiful lagoon. Try your luck at rock and surf fishing while your children collect shells or play in the protected waters of the lagoon. Fancy some golf, a game of tennis or exploring the area on horseback? No problem! These activities too, and more, are available.The village and its immediate surrounds is a declared nature and marine conservancy owing to an abundance of indigenous fauna and flora species. See the whales that visit Haga Haga from July to early December and share in the excitement of dolphin-spotting in the azure East Coast waters.
Put on you hiking boots and explore the various hiking trails that traverse the conservancy – the Krantz Garden Walk to Pullins Bay, the Otter Creek Walk and walks to Whale Point and Lagoon Look-Out. Tackle the 10 km trail along the beach to Double Mouth where you can collect pieces of Ming China and carnelian beads washed up from a sunken ship.ANY TIME IS A GOOD TIME TO VISIT
