Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Waterberg Mountains, Buccara Waterberg - Molapo offers an exclusive, malaria-free escape ideal for families and small groups seeking privacy, nature, and comfort. The spacious thatched lodge sleeps up to 14 guests and blends modern amenities with authentic bush charm.
The reserve features diverse bushveld landscapes dotted with mountains and rocky outcrops. It is home to an abundance of wildlife including leopards, brown hyenas, aardvarks, black-backed jackals, over 450 bird species, and a wide variety of antelope.
Located approximately 4 hours by car from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, the final 42 km of the journey follows a dirt road from the Visgat R33 turnoff and takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes. A high-clearance vehicle (SUV or bakkie) is recommended to comfortably access this off-the-beaten-track destination.

The reserve is rich in both flora and fauna, home to species such as nyala, kudu, eland, blue wildebeest, zebra, impala, bushbuck, duiker, steenbok, mountain reedbuck, waterbuck, warthog, baboons, bushpig, klipspringer, leopard, jackal, caracal, civet, and genet.
