It’s an authentic, energising atmosphere - though maybe not ideal if you’re hoping to sleep in late! At Lowergroen we use fresh mountain water sourced from the Buffeljags Dam. You may notice a natural brown tint - this comes from tannins released by fynbos plants, much like how tea gets its colour. While the appearance might seem unusual, the water is microbiologically and chemically safe, and perfectly fine for everyday use.

We’re a family of five living on a working farm in one of the most beautiful corners of South Africa. Neels grew up here and is proud to be the 4th generation to farm this land.
