Lodge Afriqué is a 4 Star Guest House with eight free standing luxury thatched suites, each with a full Afro-Victorian bathroom. The spacious and luxurious air-conditioned suites each offer a private outdoor African shower leading off the patio. All the suites are connected to the central Lodge by a raised wooden deck pathway nestled in a beautiful subtropical garden. A Full English & Continental breakfast is served daily on the open air breakfast deck by our friendly staff, making sure all guests are ready for a day of exploring the numerous activities St Lucia has to offer.

On the West and South, it is bordered by the Estuary itself, home to about 800 hippos and 1,200 crocodiles. On the east it is bordered by the warm Indian Ocean, and on the North the Eastern Shores section of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
With its lakes, lagoons, freshwater swamps and grasslands, the ISimangalsio Wetland Park supports more species of animals than many of the better known parks and deltas in Southern Africa.
