A newly built cottage in its own private garden with secure parking (off street), and excellent security. Your hosts are Sandi, John and our son Graeme. We are happy to welcome children and pets. The cottage is self catering with all the amenities you could possibly want, including a Weber for your braai (BBQ) under the African sky. A one bedroom open plan cottage, very private with a separate entrance, we offer free wifi, Netflix and NO LOAD SHEDDING, as we have our own invertors. Literally 2 kilometers from Kruger Parks’ southernmost gate, Malelane Gate, 50 kilometers to Lebombo (Mozambique/South African border) and about the same distance to the Jeppes Reef/ Swaziland border, we are in the perfect spot to break your long journey. After 20 years in the hospitality trade and my husband farming (litchi, mangoes and game) we sold our farm to retire .... and promptly got very bored! Not being the type of people to sit on the stoep (verandah), we have various projects on the go, including my organic vegetable garden, our cottage and various other things to keep us young at heart and busy. Should you wish to bring your fur baby along, the cottage garden is fenced. Mhlatikop is a lovely village, very safe and secure, where our kids wander around the village on their bicycles or go swimming at the neighbours. An old fashioned kind of neighborhood.

Hmm, how does one describe the neighborhood? Kruger Park literally on our doorstep, a world famous golf course next door, Mozambique's beaches an hour to the left and beautiful Swaziland directly ahead. I do believe we picked the right spot 😊
