We are the owners of three beautiful properties inside Kuleni Private Game Reserve. These homes are our special place in the South African bush, and we spend time here ourselves whenever we can. Kuleni Private Game Reserve is one of the most beautiful reserves in South Africa. There are no safari vehicles here. Guests explore on foot or by bicycle, which creates a very pure bush experience. Only driving to and from your accommodation is allowed. The reserve has a network of well-marked walking trails, making it ideal for calm wildlife viewing and connecting with the environment. You can regularly see giraffe, zebra, nyala, kudu, impala and warthog throughout the reserve or even from the comfort of your deck if you stay still and let the bush come to you. Kuleni also offers excellent birding opportunities with over 600 recorded species in the area. A dedicated bird-hide is located about 150 metres from the villa, overlooking a waterhole that attracts many species throughout the day. Kuleni is also home to the respected Bhejane Nature Training Camp, famous in South Africa for producing the highest skilled field guides. Their presence reflects the level of care, conservation focus and respect for nature within the reserve. The reserve is also ideally located near all major regional attractions. Hluhluwe iMfolozi Big 5 Game Reserve, St Lucia wetlands, False Bay, and the beaches and dive sites of Sodwana Bay are all easily reachable for day trips. Popular local stops like Delishh Restaurant and the Emdoneni Cheetah Project are also nearby.
