As naturally sociable hosts, we enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, and, of course, spoiling our family of eight adorable dogs—seven lovable Dachshunds named Smooch, Toffee, Chino, Peanut, JoJo, Poppie, and Jelly Bean, along with Lady, our cherished adopted stray from the SPCA. If you're not a dog enthusiast, our cottages might not be the perfect fit for you. We also have an airfield on our property and love flying our Sling TSi to many amazing destinations. Nestled in the heart of the Kwazulu Natal Midlands & the Midlands Meander, in Curry's Post - one of the more traditional and lesser commercialized parts of the Midlands is our beautiful cottage. We are approximately 12 kilometers from NOTTINGHAM ROAD and a great location to base yourself if you plan to do the Midlands Meander, Mooi River Howick Falls, Balgowan, Mandela Capture Site, BoschHoek Golf Estate or even the Drakensberg (we are about 30 minutes from KAMBERG). My partner and I love to eat our and travel - so feel free to use us for information on where to eat, drink or visit whilst you are here. Please note that we are a approximately 6km on a dirt from Curry's Post or The Nottingham Road side - getting to the beautiful views from the cottage does mean navigating these roads, which are generally in OK condition - however, we have a small vehicle we use on the farm and it copes fine - so do not be intimidated by this.
