Property information

Downstream is a luxurious house on the waterfront of the popular Oaklane Estate, overlooking Dullstroom’s Grootsuikerboschkop. Open plan living area – lounge with fireplace and full DSTV plasma screen and DVD player; dining area for 6; well-equipped kitchen with all modcons (incl. coffee machine, stove with oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, utensils for 6); breakfast nook; washing machine and tumble dryer. Three elegant double bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Main bedroom en-suite with view of the dam, queen bed, full bathroom with corner bath; additional 2 double bedrooms share second bathroom. Down duvets, bedroom heaters. Enclosed and open verandahs with view on hill and dam, (almost casting distance…) comfortably furnished, with built-in braai. Covered carport for 2 vehicles. Fishing in the nearby Dullstroom Dams according to Oaklane rules, permits in the house. Initial wood supplied.

Neighbourhood information

Dullstroom is a unique town in Mpumalanga often named the Scotland of South Africa. In the winters you can expect cold temperatures, red wine and fireplaces. In summer slightly higher temperatures, misty days and spectacular thunderstorms. There are many interesting restaurants to eat at with many different cuisines and menus, as well as numerous activities for family and friends.
