Welcome to Over Karoo Inn. May you enjoy the peace and quiet, breathing fresh mountain air, being woken up by birdsong and roosters instead of an alarm clock.
Take a break from your devices and instead listen to the birds chirping in the garden and enjoy the mountain views. You get the chance to enjoy the space, peace and freedom from stressful everyday life. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, or sip on a glass of wine while enjoying your break on your private patio.
Rooms have been decorated with hand-painted wood and carefully selected pieces of furniture found in and around the Overberg and the Karoo.
Our friendly host Schalk enjoys meeting new guests and welcoming them in Barrydale. He will ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Barrydale is a quirky village with plenty of arty vibey people right on the border between the Klein Karoo and the Overberg. It's a place to slow down for a moment in time, forget about news and TV and enjoy the fresh mountain air. A variety of restaurants and shops are available within walking distance in a safe and secure environment.
