Don’s Rest is a tastefully furnished and modern apartment metres away from the beach, in Ramsgate Central, close to the BP garage. The spacious lounge boasts a comfortable lounge suite, seating 6 people, with a flat screen TV, unlimited Wi Fi and full DSTV package, for your entertainment. A large deck off the lounge has amazing sea views, with a jacuzzi in which to enjoy cocktails on the beach, as well as seating for 6, with a gas and a kettle braai provided for your use. The modern, open plan kitchen is fully fitted including a fridge, microwave, stove and dishwasher, and a dining area off the kitchen, seating 6. Then there is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The main and second bedrooms are each fitted with a queen bed, and the third bedroom has 3 single beds, sleeping 7 people in total. Air conditioners are provided in all the bedrooms and the lounge area for your comfort. The main en suite bathroom as well as the second bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The apartment is secured by an alarm system and is walled with an automated gate. A carport is provided as well as extra parking for additional cars, so in total there is sufficient space for 3 vehicles. The apartment has an automated generator system so that load shedding is not your concern, as well as 25 000L of plumbed in water for back up supply in the event of a water outage. All linen is provided as well as bath towels, just bring with your own beach towels. Ramsgate beach is about 70m away and the main swimming beach and tidal pool is a short walk along the Ramsgate ramble or down Henry road. Shops and restaurants are within the immediate vicinity and, within walking distance.

Ramsgate is a small seaside resort town in KwaZulu- Natal South Coast, about 20 kilometres south of Port Shepstone. Margate town is made up of many shops, including beach, arts & crafts shops, restaurants, pubs and night clubs. Ramsgate is next to Margate which is best known for its’ beautiful coastline and blue flag beach with a swimming pool right on the beach. It’s also the only town along the South Coast to boast its’ own freshwater Olympic sized pool. Ramsgate is also home to the Famous Waffle House amongst many other local attractions. There are Taxis and private cabs available in the area.
