Dogstone Cottage offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a tastefully furnished 2-bedroom log cabin. Situated in Hondeklipbaai, the Dogstone Cottage is within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Both en-suite, sea facing bedrooms has walk-in closets and leads out onto a spacious patio where guests can relax in reclining deck chairs while enjoying beautiful ocean views. The kitchen features a breakfast nook and is equipped with a fridge/freezer combo, an electric oven and stove top, microwave and Nespresso machine. Please remember to bring own coffee pods. The cozy lounge area has full DSTV (satellite TV), DVD player & selection of DVD's, board games and a small library of books. Safe and Secure Parking with lock up garage is provided on the property. The braai/barbeque area is in full view of magnificent sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. All outdoor activities requires guests to bring their own equipment. Dogstone Cottage is the perfect spot if you need to switch off and recharge.
Dogstone Cottage is a family owned establishment. Malcolm and Sharon will be there to welcome you and make you feel at home.
Enjoy a good breakfast at Sam's Restaurant, a spectacular cocktail and lunch at Dop&Kreef Restaurant or a dinner at Die Rooi Spinnekop Restaurant. Spot Dolphins, Seals and even Whales while walking along beautiful stretches of beach or while enjoying a sun-downer on the patio back at the cottage. The entrance to the Namaqua National Park is also just outside of town. Namaqualand is world renowned for its rich bio diversity and attracts people from far and wide to come and view the explosion of color during the flower season. Namaqualand is known for its hospitality and warmth and will welcome you with open arms.
