Henri & Lisa live full time on the farm and have endeavored to restore this gem of a property back to its original vegetation. After a devastating fire in December 2016 we discovers some old canals that burned clean and we now maintain them and enjoy scenic walks in the 2 canals. We have bought in some game and are passionate about conservation and clearing alien vegetation. We would love to show you some of the special places on the farm where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset or swim in one of the natural rock pools. Conveniently situated less than a 60min drive from either George or Oudtshoorn, this offers the perfect midweek or weekend getaway. We offer 3 options, Our Lodge is luxurious and spacious, our Hideaway as the name suggests is very private and our Cottage is rustic and comfortable. The Lodge has 3 bedrooms with double doors opening onto a spacious veranda with 2 outdoor seating areas, a barbecue facility, outdoor dining facility and an adjacent indoor pub room with fridge and ice maker. A undercover plunge pool/hot tub has an unobstructed view of the Swartberg and Kamanassie Mountains. Springbuck and Gemsbuck can be seen from the veranda or plunge pool, Zebra and Red Hartebees can be viewed on guided walks or quad rides. The Hideaway is a wonderful retreat from the busyness of life, beautiful vistas with beautiful night skies, a very private gem. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms ( 1 room is a loft room accessible from the outside only with stairs. Undercover Wood fired hot tub and barbecue facilities. The Cottage is very rustic and authentic, has 3 bedrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, kitchen, lounge, barbeque and wood fired hot tub. Please note our Stone Cottage has 12 V power and no plug points inside however charging facilities are available in an outside room. Mountain bike rides in this area is very popular and we encourage to bring your own bike along. We suggest a good pair of walking shoes for those keen to walk around and explore the game camp on foot.

Oudtshoorn is between 45-60km depending on the route. Herold Wines is 21km away. Oudtshoorn offers many attractions like Cango Caves, Ostrich Farms and Cango Wildlife Ranch about 60 away. Giraffe feeding at Chandelier about 45 km away GREAT cycling and hiking area.
