The owners know the area well and can recommend day trips, or assist with planning a holiday to the surrounding areas - Port Alfred, Hogsback, Maclear, Rhodes and the beautiful Wild Coast. The hosts personal interests are motorcycling (enduro and adventure), cycling, surfing, canoeing, and hiking.

Glengariff is a small community with only 50 properties and located at the Glengariff beach. This pristine beach and coastal dune forest is a mere 250 meters from the flatlet at the only A-frame house in Glengariff. This area is very safe. It is ideal for couples and families. The Glengariff beach is famous for its surfing, diving, fishing, cycling and hiking. Glengariff is only 10 minutes drive to a local Shopping Centre at Crossways where there is a fuel station, tyre repair shop, mechanic, liquor store, restaurants, pubs, pharmacy, hair dresser, vet shop, hardware and butchery.
