Walden Retreats Hill Country originally opened to the public in 2018. We support local businesses through the products stocked in our tents and offered in our General Store. We take measures to be good stewards of the land, and we have a thorough Sustainability & Eco Plan in place to ensure we are operating in an environmentally conscious manner. Our mission is to make the outdoor experience comfortable and convenient. We create luxury camping experiences that foster rest and provide an intimate connection with nature.

We believe nature is the best environment for restoration and that the outdoor experience should be comfortable. Camp One is a 96 acre property located 1 hour west of Austin along the cliffs of the Pedernales River in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Our property features 15 individual air conditioned safari tents that provide an authentic outdoor experience without sacrificing the comforts of a luxury hotel.
