Urban Rustic Getaway

Hi there! We're native Oregonians in a family of 7 with 14 grandchildren and counting. Coming from a large family hosting is native to us and we love it! We hope you feel cozy and welcomed in our home as we invite you to be our guest. Lonny and I first built our home 20 years ago and his love for building and mine for interior design of homes has taken us to where we are now. Pet Policy: We are glad to host your pets too (as in dogs 🐶). Anything beyond that — lizards, ferrets, emotional support peacocks — needs a little pre-approval, just so we’re all on the same page. Regardless of how well trained the pet is, we have found pets do crazy things at unfamiliar locations. I really do not want to charge for cleaning carpets or floor rugs. It’s a pain, so please READ carefully! Thank you! We ask for compliance in a few house rules: 🛋️ No pets on the furniture — no matter how much they side-eye ya. 🚪 No pets in the bedrooms. We just replaced carpets and are trying to keep things fresh and fur-free. 🛏️ Bring their own bedding if possible to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen! If you don’t have any, let me know — I’ve got extra pet blankets you can use. 🚿 No pet baths in the tub. That spa day is for humans only. 🚧 Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance. 🚫 No unkenneled solo pet parties — please don’t leave your pet unattended unless properly crated. 🐶 Need pet care while you're out? We’ve got a Rover sitter on standby — just say the word. 💩 Please scoop the poop. It’s basic trail etiquette and good humaning. There is a pet fee per dog, inquire for more details.

Located a couple blocks from the center of OSU campus and a few more to the heart of downtown, this makes a great jumping off point for adventures in Corvallis or anywhere in the valley. Take a short 1 hour drive to the beautiful Oregon beaches or drive in the opposite direction to shortly find yourself among the breathtaking cascade mountains with their waterfalls and endless hiking trails.
