With the elevation comes slightly more rain during the rainy season and an influx in coqui frogs. Please be aware that we have no control over the natural critters that exist in our tropical climate & we cannot control Mother Nature. We make a point to create a quiet and serene environment for our guests and we expect our guests to do the same. Cancellation & Refund Policy: We do not provide refunds to guests who chose to leave the property early. If your stay is cut short, you are responsible for the nights you booked. If you chose the non refundable rate, we do not issue refunds if your travels plans change, you are responsible for the full cost of your stay. We live on-site in the ground floor unit with our 50 pound poi dog. We love talking story with guests and sharing our knowledge of the island. Our guests check in on their own and we give them as much privacy as we can. Please read the welcome message for check in details! Quiet, residential neighbourhood nestled between Kailua-Kona and Holualoa. Home is located at the top of a very steep hill. Ideally, guests would have a rental car to get around. - 10 minute drive to Safeway, restaurants, & snorkel beaches - 25 minutes from airport - 20 minutes from Costco This in not a party neighborhood.
