Hello and welcome! I'm originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but I made the move to Kentucky in 2015. I live here with my wonderful wife and our three kids—two girls and one boy. When I'm not spending quality time with my family, you’ll likely find me out on the golf course, enjoying a round with friends. You may be curious about the name “The Third Monkey.” It’s inspired by an old saying: “Never seek out a fight, but if you must fight, fight like you’re the third monkey on the ramp to Noah’s Ark… and brother, it’s starting to rain.” This sentiment, emphasizing determination and resilience, felt perfectly fitting given our proximity to the Ark Encounter. Just as the third monkey was ready to fight for a place on the ark, we are dedicated to ensuring your stay is nothing short of excellent. Main Bedroom (Second Floor): A cozy queen-sized bed, a 32-inch TV, and a designated workspace with a desk and office chair. Additional Bedroom (Second Floor): A second queen-sized bed. Third Bedroom (Basement): Two full-sized futons, ideal for extra guests. The home also features two full bathrooms (on the second floor and basement) and a half bath on the first floor Kitchen: A fully stocked kitchen, perfect for guests who prefer to cook their own meals. Outdoor Space: A spacious deck that includes a hangout area and a grill to enjoy with family or friends. Accessibility: Please note that this home may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges. Important Notes: As a duplex, we ask that guests be considerate of our neighbors during their stay.
