Karl, your hotelier, was born and raised on a farm near Lubbock, Texas and vacationed with his family in the Cloudcroft area, spending many weekends at Bluff Springs between Cloudcroft and Sunspot.   He has longed to return and purchase a small cabin operation like the Cabins at Cloudcroft to provide a little bit of his nirvana to vacationers wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city or offer a stark contrast to the flatlands of the Llano Estacado.  Come stay with us and feel the stress just melt from the time you drive into the mountains of whispering pines and quaking aspens - we look forward to serving you and your family in our little piece of Heaven. Karl served in the US Army from 1978 until 2000 retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer.  His assignments included Fort Lewis, Washington, Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Sill, OK, Searcy Arkansas (Recruiting Station Commander,) Heilbronn, Grafenwoehr, and Manneim Germany, Soto Cano Honduras, and Dhahran Saudi Arabia. Nestled in the tall pines and aspens of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, a four season resort Village located in the Sacramento Mountains in the Lincoln National Forest 90 miles north of El Paso, Texas. We offer a rustic cabin experience in a great location!
