After owning an interior architectural firm specializing in designing restaurants internationally for 35 years, Melinda decided to leave her Texas roots in February 2021 and move to Aiken, SC. After eight months of renovation, she opened The Birdnest Inn in October 2021.

Property information

The Birdnest Inn is an upscale B&B serving a full farmhouse breakfast featuring eggs from our heritage breed hens, veggies, herbs, and jams and jellies homemade from fruits and vegetables grown on our property. All rooms have private baths. Feel free to sit in the gazebo, visit our hens or walk around our ever-expanding gardens.

Neighbourhood information

Located on five acres, The Birdnest Inn is one block off of Whiskey Road in south Aiken. Only ten minutes from Bruce's Field, Aiken's newest equine venue and close to golf courses and downtown, the location is ideal.
