Chalet directly on the Chestatee River and sits on 20 private acres. Kayak and canoe are provided. Charcoal grill with picnic table, firepit with firewood provided. The river is stocked with various trout. 6 person covered hot tub. Within a few miles to local wineries, various restaurants, hiking trails, waterfalls, six miles from downtown Dahlonega and 18 miles from the town Helen. No steps from driveway onto wrap around porch and into first level. First level has open concept living, dining and kitchen. 2 bedrooms and with a king and a queen. Main level bathroom has large walk in shower, toilet with grab bar and bidet. All of main level is handicap accessible. Second floor has large bedroom with king bed, balcony and private bathroom. Second level also contains an open loft with bunk beds for children. No events allowed. Pets accepted with extra fee.

Lewis Grindle road is gravel road with slight disrepair. It is a typical suburban road that has not been paved by the county. Please drive slowly until you see our paved driveway with our River Edge Chalet sign on the right. Rarely GPS tries to send you through Hollybrooke Road. Please do not use this road as it is in disrepair. Lumpkin County allows shooting of firearms during daytime and night time. We prohibit the use of firearms for any reason other than self defense on our property. Follow Lewis Grindle Road about a mile until you see our sign and our concrete driveway on your right. GPS sometimes tries to have you turn on Lunceford Circle before our driveway. This is incorrect and will take you to the other side of our property.
